Each morning, Michael delivers fresh croissants to your door. It is the detail guests mention more than any other. It sits within a longer list of small, unhurried touches: a continental hamper stocked in the cabin for your whole stay, a cheese platter and chocolates waiting when you arrive, firewood split and ready through the cooler months. Birds come along and sit on the balcony rail in the morning and you can hand feed them. The cabins are about 4km out of Montville and it's an easy drive that's well worth it. We would definitely stay here again.”
