# Weddings, elopements and micro-weddings at Montville Country Cabins

Montville Country Cabins runs a small wedding program across its 16 acres of rainforest and gardens: elopements through to celebrations of up to 45 guests, with the Boutique Events House as the reception room and cabin accommodation for the wedding party. Only around 26 weddings are hosted each year, so dates book well ahead; 2026 is fully booked, and 2027 dates are now open.

## The three packages

Each package includes exclusive use of the grounds, styling and coordination handled for you, a celebrant and all legal paperwork, florals, professional photography, a wedding cake, and accommodation for the couple.

**Elopement (up to 12 guests, including the couple).** A three-hour celebration with an 11am or 3pm ceremony, florals, an hour and a half of photography, celebratory drinks afterwards, and a cabin for the couple's wedding night with champagne, a cheese platter, chocolates, port and a breakfast hamper. Available Monday to Thursday.

**Intimate Celebration (up to 30 guests).** A five-hour ceremony and reception with fuller floral styling, three hours of photography, a night's accommodation across four cabins for guests, and a two-night stay for the couple. Available Monday to Saturday.

**Grand Boutique (up to 45 guests).** Eight hours of exclusive use with full floral and reception styling, a personalised floral welcome sign, five hours of photography, a night's accommodation across eight cabins for guests, and a two-night stay for the couple. Available Monday to Saturday.

## Ceremonies on the property

Ceremonies are held outdoors on the grounds, under a styled arbour, or on the deck, with the rainforest and gardens around you. White ceremony chairs, the signing table and the arbour setup are part of each package. Ceremony, reception, accommodation and photos all sit within the one property, so guests never drive between them.

## The Boutique Events House

The reception is held in the Boutique Events House on-site, a light, airy room seating up to 45, opening to a patio with valley views toward Maleny. It reconfigures between the ceremony, dining and function setups across the day.

## Accommodation

Ten cabins on the property:

- **Five couples cottages** (Cuddle Pie, Snuggle Pot, Harmony, Peace, Seclusion) and a studio (Silky Oak), sleeping two each.
- **Three two-storey family cabins** (Rose Gum, Iron Bark, Hoop Pine), sleep up to six including a sofa bed in the lounge.

All ten cabins booked together comfortably accommodate up to about 30 guests overnight; the rest of the guest list travels in for the day. Attending guests can book the remaining cabins at a special wedding rate, and parties have block-booked the whole property in the past for back-to-back nights either side of the day.

## What sets this venue apart

The 16 acres and the 50-to-100-metre cabin spacing mean the wedding party can spread across the property without overlap, and guests staying the night before don't share walls or verandahs.
