Cuddle Pie
A ground-floor couples cabin with the lake on one side and the cottage garden on the other.
Cuddle Pie is one of the single-level cabins, sized for two. The lounge opens to a private patio and hooded BBQ; the king-size spa sits inside with a window framing the rainforest.
A king bed, a deep spa bath beside the slow-combustion fireplace, and a patio with the lake on one side and the cottage garden on the other. The cabin is set apart from its neighbours by fifty to a hundred metres in each direction.
Inside the plan is open. The kitchen is fully self-contained for a long stay – stovetop, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, dining table – though there is no oven; the BBQ on the patio does the work.

A self-contained couples cabin in Montville with a king bed, king-size spa bath, wood fireplace, private BBQ patio, lake and garden outlook.
Lake on one side, the cottage garden on the other.
The morning
A continental hamper is stocked in the cabin for the length of your stay: cereals, bread, butter, jams, juice, milk. Each morning Michael delivers fresh croissants to the door. Coffee from the kitchen, taken on the patio.
The evening
Welcome chocolates wait on the kitchen bench. From April to September, firewood is supplied for the slow-combustion fireplace; light it from the basket beside the hearth and run the spa bath deep. The possums usually come down to the lawn around dusk.
Beyond the cabin
Kondalilla National Park starts on the property boundary; the trailhead to the falls is a short walk. Montville village is a five-minute drive for cafés, galleries and the historic clock shop. Maleny and Mapleton sit a little further along the ridge.
