Welcome to Montville Country Cabins, a charming 16-acre haven where nature thrives! Nestled among stunning remnant rainforests and lush gardens, you’ll discover a beautiful private spring-fed lake that invites relaxation.

We offer six cosy, secluded cabins perfect for a romantic getaway, as well as three spacious family cabins designed for both couples and families. The family cabins are thoughtfully situated away from the couples’ cabins to ensure everyone enjoys their own peaceful retreat.

Just minutes away lies the delightful Alpine village of Montville, set in the breath taking Blackall Mountain Ranges of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast Hinterland. We can’t wait to help you create unforgettable memories in this picturesque setting!

Our Room Types

We offer nine self-contained country cabins. Six of these cabins are perfect for couples, while three multi-story cabins can accommodate both couples and families. To ensure a peaceful environment, the family cabins are situated away from the couples’ cabins. Each cabin has picturesque views, whether it’s of remnant rainforest, lush gardens, or our serene spring-fed lake.

We also have 6 couples’ cabins and 3 multi story family cabins which sleep up to 6 guests. All cabins have beautiful views of either remnant rainforest, lush gardens or our spring fed lake. Each cabin has a king or queen bed, a large spa bath, fireplace, open plan living, full kitchen, air conditioning, outdoor patio with BBQ. Perfect for all your guests to choose to come and stay.

Over the years we have hosted artist’s retreats, writer’s retreats, corporate board meetings, government training seminars, small business group training and one on one mentoring and meetings.

Nestled on 16 acres of remnant rainforest, lush gardens, and a serene spring-fed lake, our venue offers a picturesque backdrop just minutes from Montville. Parking is available on site.

Looking for accommodation? Our secluded one-bedroom cabins provide the perfect retreat for couples, boasting stunning rainforest and lush garden views. Each cabin features a spa bath with panoramic views, a cosy lounge with a wood fireplace, full kitchen, air conditioning and a private veranda equipped with a BBQ and outdoor seating area. Guests are greeted with a complimentary cheese platter upon arrival and can enjoy home-baked croissants delivered to their cabin each morning. Modern amenities include a flat-screen TV, CD and DVD player, and a selection of dining options from our in-house menu.

Nestled within the Blackall Mountain Ranges and the iconic Glass House Mountains you can discover breath taking views around every corner, whether you are looking down across the incredible Sunshine Coast toward the beaches or hiking through gorges and lush rainforests along the Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walks. Just around the corner from us down Narrows Road is the start of the Baroon Pocket to Kondalilla Falls Great Walk. Enjoy walking along the Obi Obi Gorge ending up at the water hole at Kondalilla Falls, or head to Mapleton Falls & the Wompoo Circuit. Marvel at the beautiful countryside as you drive out towards Maleny, Kenilworth, Pomona and Yandina.

Dive into a vibrant local scene with art galleries showcasing stunning works, meander garden trails, and gourmet dining experiences that will delight your taste buds. Don’t miss the charming regional craft and foodie markets, where you can find unique treasures and delicious treats.

Join in on the fun at lively music festivals or savour leisurely long lunches. Flame Hill Winery is moments away from us on Western Avenue, and is open for wine tastings at its cellar door. It has a superb restaurant open for lunch with brilliant views across the Sunshine Coast from its deck. A true paddock to plate experience. We always enjoy a delicious “Chacuterie Board” with a paired local Montville wine. We also highly recommend Dining on the Deck at Secrets on the Lake enjoying a high tea or leisurely lunch overlooking Baroon Pocket Dam. Their “Secrets Leek & Cheese Souffle” is superb. Aldy and George and their team will be delighted to welcome you. It is a good idea to make reservations in advance for both these restaurants.

“Beautiful property in such a lovely part of the Sunshine Coast. The owners, Karen and Michael were so lovely and welcoming to their beautiful property. The cabins were cute and quaint, with beautiful views visited by the cute kookaburras. Each morning fresh croissants were left at the door to have with the eggs, sausage and bacon provided. We also purchased the delicious BBQ package and cooked it on the balcony Weber, the pack was a great amount of food at a good cost. Overall, we had a wonderful relaxing vacation and would love to return soon”.

We loved warming up by the wood fire and indulging in a relaxing spa bath. The welcoming package was exceptional made up with products from local businesses. The hot croissants delivered to the cabin every morning for breakfast was a real highlight. We will definitely be coming back again”.

“This is a lovely, quant and quiet place to stay. The new owners, Karen and Michael really went above and beyond to make the stay memorable and enjoyable. Warm fresh croissants each morning, a cheese board, local milk and yoghurt and a breakfast hamper were all provided. The spa bath is phenomenal and the fireplace makes this the perfect place to spend some time in winter. The kookaburras are friendly and pleasant (although a little cheeky hehe).
