# Booking and cancellation.

The essential terms for stays at Montville Country Cabins. Different terms apply for weddings and functions, agreed separately at booking.

## How the deposit works.

One night is drawn at the time of booking when you book seven or more days out, with the balance drawn seven days before arrival. Inside seven days the full amount is taken at booking. A $200 pre-authorisation is taken on a credit card at check-in.

## Cancellation and refunds.

### 28+ days before arrival

A full refund is given, less a $50 administration fee.

### 28 to 7 days before arrival

The deposit is forfeited unless the cabin can be rebooked for the same dates. If resold, a $50 administration fee applies and the balance is refunded.

### Inside 7 days of arrival

The full booking amount is forfeited unless the cabin can be rebooked for the same dates. If resold, a $50 administration fee applies and the balance is refunded.

### Travel insurance

Strongly recommended. Travel insurance is the simplest cover against illness, weather, work changes and the other things that can move a booking unexpectedly.

### Special events

Weddings and functions are subject to separate terms agreed at the time of booking.

## Payment terms.

### Accepted payment methods

MasterCard, Visa and direct debit. American Express attracts a 3% surcharge. Diners Club is not accepted.

### Card on file

A valid credit card is required to confirm any booking. The card on file is the default method for the balance payment seven days before arrival.

### Minimum nights

Two-night minimum stay; three-night minimum across public holidays. Single nights are available at the discretion of management.

### System overrides

Management reserves the right to override system glitches and confirm or amend bookings where the rate or availability has been misquoted.

## Guest responsibilities.

### Check-in and check-out

Check-in from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.; arrivals after 7 p.m. (office close) require prior arrangement. Check-out by 11 a.m.

### Damage and cleanliness

Guests are liable for any damage, loss or theft during the stay. A $50 charge applies if dishes or the cabin are left in a state that requires extra cleaning.

### Conduct

A $1,250 security call-out fee applies if disruptive behaviour requires intervention. Disruptive guests may be evicted without refund.

### Smoking

Smoking and vaping are permitted on the deck or in designated areas only – not inside the cabin. A $500 cleaning fee applies to violations.

### Pets

No pets, with the exception of registered guide dogs. The property borders national park and rainforest.

### Visitors

Day visitors require prior approval from management. Guests are responsible for the peaceful enjoyment of the property by all other guests.
