From Brisbane, the Gold Coast or further afield? We offer grandparents, grown-up children and friends a comfortable wedding base.

Michael and I can help with one-night or longer stays, subject to availability.

Ten individual timber cabins span sixteen acres of gardens, rainforest and a spring-fed lake. Seven couples cabins and three larger family cabins let generations stay together with their own space. Nine are bookable, subject to availability.

Each has kitchen facilities, a spa bath and its own veranda.

Some venues have rooms, but not always enough for everyone. Our cabins offer another option for family and friends, or anyone who prefers their own space.

One night or a little longer?

One-night stays are available on some dates, subject to minimum-stay conditions. Arrive early or stay on to visit Montville Village, lunch in Maleny, browse galleries or walk through the rainforest.

An easy morning

Your continental breakfast hamper is waiting in your cabin. Michael delivers warm croissants to your door each morning, so you can enjoy coffee on the veranda and take in the gardens.

Dinner out or a quiet evening in

Meet relatives for dinner in Montville or stay in with an optional BBQ Hamper or Hot Dinner Hamper, organised by prior arrangement. For longer stays, see our Four Nights All-In package on the Specials page.

Getting to and from the wedding

Plan your return transport before the day. Hinterland roads are winding, venues can be far apart, and the journey needs care after dark. First, check whether the couple has arranged a shuttle.

Stay Safe Transfers and Mystic Mountain Tours are Lynn and Andrew's two local businesses. You can also enquire with Elite Executive Transfers. Book directly and confirm availability, pickup points, costs and return arrangements. Transport is not included with standard cabin bookings.

Can we stay for just one night?

Sometimes, depending on your dates and minimum-stay conditions. Check with us.

Can several relatives stay at the property?

Yes, subject to availability. Couples and family cabins let relatives and friends stay together with their own space.

Is breakfast included?

Yes, a continental breakfast hamper and warm croissants delivered each morning.

Can we arrange wedding transport through the cabins?

We can share independent operators' details. Book directly with them, or ask whether the wedding couple has arranged a shuttle. Transport isn't included with cabin bookings.

Can we have an after-party at the cabins?

No. Sound restrictions keep the property peaceful for everyone. After-parties and late-night gatherings are not permitted.
