Honeymoon and anniversary cabin stays in Montville

How to choose a private Montville cabin for a honeymoon, mini-moon or anniversary, then arrange the food, wine and time that make the stay feel considered.

Honeymoon and anniversary cabin stays in Montville

For a honeymoon or anniversary, choose the privacy you want, arrange the key details early and leave time together.

Montville Country Cabins is couple-focused cabin accommodation in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. The property has ten standalone timber cabins across 16 acres, spaced 50 to 100 metres apart. There are no shared walls or verandahs, and each cabin has a private entrance and outdoor space.

Start with the cabin layout

The couple cabins share the same core inclusions: a king-size spa bath, fireplace, kitchen, hooded BBQ and rainforest outlook. The useful differences are size, bed and view.

Cuddle Pie has a king bed with lake and garden views. Snuggle Pot has a king bed, a garden and rainforest outlook, and a distant glimpse of the lake. Harmony, Peace and Seclusion are single-level king cottages with garden and rainforest views. Seclusion is the most enclosed. Silky Oak is the compact studio, with a queen bed and lake view.

Choose by the view you want to wake up to and how tucked away you would like to feel. The accommodation page sets out each cabin’s outlook, layout and current availability.

Decide what should already be handled

Every stay begins with a continental breakfast hamper stocked for the full visit, plus a welcome cheese platter, chocolates and port. Michael delivers hot croissants to the door at 8 am each morning.

For an occasion stay, decide before arrival whether one evening should stay in the cabin. Paid BBQ packs and hot dinner hampers can be arranged with Karen and Michael. Each cabin also has sparkling, red and white wine in the mini-bar, paid as taken. The hamper guide explains the dining choices.

Massage and spa treatments are available on request for an additional charge. Ask when booking if a treatment matters to the occasion.

Choose two nights or four

Two nights suit a mini-moon or a short anniversary. Arrive from 3 pm, keep the first evening in the cabin, spend the middle day on one walk or lunch, then leave by 11 am after the second morning’s croissants.

Four nights change the pace. There is room for Montville Village, a Kondalilla walk and a day with no outing at all. A longer stay also gives wet weather somewhere to go. Rain on the roof, a spa bath and a book can carry a wet day.

Current specials and celebration packages include two-night and four-night options with selected food, wine and other inclusions. Check the specials page for current prices, dates and inclusions.

Keep the occasion specific

Give the stay one detail that belongs to the two of you: dinner on the balcony, a favourite bottle, a morning without phones, or a walk that matches your actual fitness. Decide whether the priority is the cabin outlook, a requested treatment, included meals or time outside.

The broad romantic Montville getaway guide covers Kondalilla, Montville Village and Lake Baroon when you are ready to choose what happens beyond the cabin.

Book the details, leave space around them

Tell Karen and Michael what you want arranged: cabin preference, dinner hamper, wine or a requested treatment. Do not make the occasion depend on unconfirmed extras.

Then stop planning. The cabin already has the parts that matter most for a honeymoon or anniversary stay in Montville: real separation from the neighbours, a private balcony, breakfast at the door and an evening that does not require another drive.
